I downloaded few maps including United Arab emirates, Turkey, plus other countries .. I noticed in Turkey map (In Istanbul Area) when I do a search for Hotels for example, it gives me only 1 result (I moved the cursor all over the city) and still I get 1 hotel!!
The question is when someone download a map .. does it include ALL points of Intrests or we need also to download that while navigating the map through WiFi for example ?
Hi
Downloaded some maps of France today and loads of info hotels, restaurants, etc included.
It must be limited by the info available to the mapping company

Map coverage is always going to be better for Western Europe as thats always been mapped well, but moving towards middle east and eastern Europe mapping inst as detailed as of yet.
hi aldosari
Don't know about Turkey database, but when I zoom into Bordeaux and search by category it lists 26 within 900 yards but on the map it only shows 1 but loads of restaurants even though hotels is ticked in the show categories list. Is this how you were searching?

All i can advise to you is to contact Navteq and Teleatlas and tell them about various Points of interest. I think its Telatlas that do the points of interest for Nokia Maps. You can use their map feedback to tell them about them. Unfortunately neither seem to have turkey on their lists to report back about.
