first of all i apologise if this is a duplicate thread.

my question is this....before debranding,is there anything i or anyone can do beforehand to prevent the debranding from going wrong and damaging the phone? going to do it in a few days but im sh*ting myself incase i mess up my new phone. just looking for some small tips(if there is any)to make the process run smoothly. or do i just try and hope for the best? lol

only one thing I can think of, and it's dead obvious - make sure your computer and phone both have reliable power supply!

Take your time. Follow the steps carefully. If you plan on running the NSS on Vista, you'll need to adjust the compatibility mode options. Close any open applications and processes you don't need while using the software and performing the update etc. Good luck!

use the links .. do it step by step and you can't go far wrong.

I strongly suggest resetting the phone BEFORE doing the firmware upgrade.
That way we know there are no random settings.

DO NOT PANIC when it restarts during the upgrade process!!

Good luck!😊

Just as an observation, I tried to debrand my N95 when the battery bar was down to 50% but the latest version of NSU wouldn't let me do it until the phone was on charge. Clever.
