Anyone else experiencing their N95 running hot ?
Second time this has happened to me - phone is left on charge overnight, in the morning the handset feels hot. Power off and on handset and when powering off Nokia display corrupted, battery removed and re-inserted. Once phone powers up again, battery indicates only 1/2 charged !?!
It's almost as though there is an app/Bluetooth/GPS/WLAN running overnight - yet WLAN scan and GPS off ??
Anyone else seen this ? F/W v11.0.026 (EURO1)
Sounds like a return to Nokia for repair or replacement problem. I have only had my Nokia N95 over heat once and that was when i was at a concert and had the camera in use practically through out as well as the Video recorder. Those LEDS heat up the phone a lot especially when its in your hand with a leather cover over the phone. My phone crashed with lines on the screen, went to a white screen and would not do anything. Had to remove battery and turn it back on.
Only time I've had my N95 'noticeably' hot, was after a three hour drive using the satnav. Other then that, seems to stay pretty cool.
had mine heat up after a long phone call, and when streaming internet radio...
its a bit worrying, but not too much
