Its only just started happening, but the phone will be just sitting there, all of a sudden it will just go white, then the nokia loading screen will come on as if the phone has been turned on..
Anyone else get this problem?

Is this likely to be a firmware issue though? i changed my product code so that i could download the latest firmware, and im un-able to change my product code back to the o2 one for some reason, so this will make the warranty invalid

This happens with alot of Nokia's. My old 3230 used to do it alot. I replaced the battery and it still did it but only very rarely. I think its battery and firmware issues.

im now on number 3 of my Nokia N95`s
im on an 02 online tariff and have an 18 month contract with them at £40+ a month!
my first 2 handsets had the wobbly loose slider and annoying high pitch noise
my 3rd one was absolutely fine, no loose sliders, no high pitch noise or anything
but it has recently started re-starting itself 2-3 times per day with EXACTLY the same syptoms as you my friend
i have version 11 firmware, and its still doing it!
i have changed my product code like you, but still re-starting!!!
i have a 4th handset coming tomorrow, but im worried that if i hand this one over i will get one like the first 2!
is this restarting problem common ??
or have i a CRAP handset? should i keep it?

do you think the driver who delivers it will let me open it and check for wobbly slider etc?

Mine does the same thing now and then. Have had this issue with many Nokia's in the past. I've no idea what the cause is. It doesn't do it all the time, just now and then randomly, though does tend to happen most when I'm doing 'lots' of things with it.

now that we have all updated our firmware by changing our product codes
(which some of us HAD to do because of 02 taking forever)
once the firmware has been updated, do we need to do a factory reset after it re-boots after installing the new software
would this cure the re-starting do you think?
i heard somewhere that its NOT good to do the *#7370* reset after changing the product code ? is this correct? i dont want to destroy this phone, lol
