Can you transmit photos taken on the N95 to a computer (on the same network) using WLAN? Once the pics are taken I would like to upload load them to a certain folder on my PC without having to use a wired connected (and my PC doesn't have bluetooth).

Yes you can, for instance by:
- Installing SimpleCenter Home Media Server on you pc (I believe the software CD for this is included when you buy N95).
- OR you can use the Windows native Media Sharing feature
I believe that both of them require that you enable the UPnP user interface in XP (add/remove Windows Components \ Networking Services).
Basically they are quite similar in use and you can upload as well as download files from/to N95 using this feature. I've tried them both.
The Media Server client on N95 can be configured to automatically connect and upload files or you can manually initiate transfer (copy or move).
Why not just use Bluetooth in Win Explorer ?
Needs PC Suite installed.

How would you do this once installing the UPnP interface anyway? I don't see a "send via UPnP" option anywhere.

you could try SymSMB. The current version allows you to access folders from your phone on your pc wirelessly, but the new version 2.00 (out any day now) allows you to access sahred folders on your pc from your phone.

After you have enabled and configured the Media sharing feature on device (Tools\Home Network) there will be an "Move and Copy" option when browsing files using => Gallery => Images & Video. This will browse your network for "Media Servers" which uses UPnP and list them for you to select which one to transfer to or copy from.
You can also do vice versa, e.g. from Gallery select "Home Network" to browse configured folders on your PC and select files to Copy/Move to device.
=> There is no "send via UPnP option. You use the "Move and Copy" option from "Gallery".
Thanks for the info although no devices were found when the N95 got to the stage of trying to copy a picture, even though our office WiFi router is UPnP enabled and I installed UPnP via Windows components.
I'll try it on our home WiFi tonight and see if there's any more joy there.

Thanks for all your help!

Search this forum. I'posted a reply in a thread earlier with a weblink to external forum/source which describes how to set up/configure Home Media Server and PC.

Thanks for the info. However, I'd like to be able to access either our home or work network via WiFi without the need to install the Home Media Server software. I did this on an N80 a while back and found it a pain.
My old SPV M5000 had the ability to browse shared folders on any PC connected to the network when I used WiFi. So I'm looking for a Symbian equivalent.
