Hi all,
I had pretty much been taking it as a given that, for all the fanfare and effort nokia have clearly invested in the hardware in this machine, they would also have finally taken the trouble to make it useful to serious Outlook users by allowing synchronisation of categories.
But now, to my disbelief I read (I would post the link but this forum won't allow me to) that the latest communicator still won't sychronise categories! What in Nokia on?
Having waited patiently and with anticipation for months for the E90, I am instead now considering moving to the MS dark side...
Anyone else feel like this? I know full well that there were no decent workarounds on the 9500 for this so I am not expecting anything for the E90.
Cheers,
Ben
I fully agree. It makes you wonder where the people that invented the concept of teh Communicator have gone. No fax, extra's that the probably typical communicatoruser would not have missede, an onther operating system that is at least doubtfull for the Communicator and not the really needed improvements for professional use - except the speed that was needed and the screen that is a beauty. I am researching the competition as well, but a fax is offered by no one as far as I can see. Greetings!
Hi guys, I'm a symbian virgin. 😊 I owned a PalmOS and Windows Mobile devices but never Symbian. I'm almost detemant to buy E90, but I'm worried about sychronization. Since I'm using my Dell Axim X51v to reach corporate mail over Outlook Exchange server, I'm wondering if E90 will be able to do the same job. I also like that meetings attached to an email are sent to my Outlook and if I accept meeting its automatically added to my calendar. Can E90 do this? If I buy E90 I'm also considering RoadSync from DataViz.
What do you think about it guys?
