Predictive Text / User Dictionary query — Nokia N95 and N95 8GB

Apologies folks. I know this has been answered somewhere but having spent the last half an hour searching, I can't find it.

The issue I have is that when predictive text is on, everytime I go for the word "at" it comes up with "cv" first. This has only started since the otherday when I had to change the word "at" for "cv" in a sentence. It's clearly taken "cv" as the more recent preferred word for those key presses. I've been used to "at" coming first time for years so I keep having to stop and go back and manually change it which is annoying. How do I get "at" back to the top of the preferred spellings.

Same thing occurs for "i'll" which now comes out as "i.ll" with a spot instead of an apostophe.

I think I remember someone saying about doing something 5 times but I can't find it. Any help much appreciated.

Don't panic,

Same happened to mine, cant remember which word it was...........

If your text is coming up as "BS" instead of "AS" just do the following:

Create new text.
Type the word "AS" yours will come up "BS".
Change it to "AS" with the * key.

Now repeat the above (I think about 5 times) your phone will learn that you want to input the word "AS" from then on it will bring up "AS" as the first prediction.

Technology eh!!

Many many thanks for that. You've reduced my stress levels noticeably.

Incidentally, it took 5-10 goes to sort out "cv" and "at" whereas closer to 15 to sort at "I.ll" and "I'll".

But all is well that ends!
