hey this is my first post out here in the n95 section...as the title states am gettin my n95 2mrrw...nd i really need to know how would i figure out the "new" n95 from the "old" N95...by that i mean the one with the slider fixed new firmware nd evything fixed..i live in uae...probly gna buy da phone 4m carrefour or smthn coz ill be using a credit card...so i cant really open up da boxes nd shit....so pls help me out here....would really appreciate it...
someone told me dat on da phone itself the n95 tag below the nokia is ina broad font in the new releases nd thin on the old....is dat ryt??
what should i be lookin for to be able to get the new releases even if i had an open box purchase????
Not sure if their is anyway of telling if the phone will have the slider problem or not. But you can tell the firmware revision its on the back of the box with the barcode it lists the firmware under S.W.
As for everything fixed well unfortunately its a hit or miss with the FW some people have less problems with older firmware some with the new. I dont think firmware will matter too much to you, as you can update it via NSU when a new one comes out.

Quakester2000 thnx for the info...bout da box and FW...personally i am not worried about the fw AT ALL...the only worries are bout the slider and evything i.e hardware issues resolved in new releases....guess so..

No hard feelings. It's not the punctuation I was complaining about. Rather your use of phonetic English, which gives the appearance of trying to be hip and 'street' but in fact portrays the opposite.

heey man thnx..firstly uae is not saudi arabia!! its the united arab emirates..nd may i just do a slight change, just correct, or jst add to the facts....
seriously i dont know arabic myself, have been livin in london when i was a kid, nd was born in holland!!!! done my a-level exams got an A- in english as a first language!!!! studied architecture in sudan...in english again....nd i just came here to uae coz of the JOB!!! the firm which i work in, the only arab happns to be me!!!! am sorry i might be talkin too much...my bad
