Nokia 1gb Micro SD Card - Write Protected ?

When I access it from the SD card adapter, XP reads the card OK.

But when I try to load maps or other files I get the error message "the disk is write-protected"

Any ideas how I can access the disk and un-protect it ?

There should be a little slidey thing on the side of the adapter,i think it says 'Lock' next to it,switch it up or down from where ever it is and then try again

Thanks, but I tried that both ways and it didnt seem to make any difference.

The card can be accessed by the phone as I have photo's and files on it.
