Hi,

im new to this forum and coming from germany (which means please excuse my bad english). I recently bought an e61i, i had an e61, an e70, an n73, n95,... but i never really used a Symbian phone for more then a couple of days, then i switched back to Windows Mobile. Which doesn't mean i'm in love with WindowsMobile, i just didn't had the time to figure out the issues i had.

With the e61i i want to try it again, so maybe some of you are so kind to give me some tips on my following points:

1) E-Mail:
I have an IMAP server and i found it quiet anyoing that there is no simple "send/receive" like in windows. I never really feel that my mailbox is updated well, deleting mails doesn't have an direct effect and so on. So the simple question is: Is there a better e-mail client outside which is fast and runs good with IMAP?

2) Camera:
Even when the camera on the e61i isn't perfect, it's better then nothing.
I liked the feature on the n-series to post a picture directly to flickr - i guess that is made through lifeblog. Is there a chance to make something like that available von the e-series?

3) Standby Screen:
Is there a third party tool that allows me to setup some more links on the standy screen to other applications "and" documents? (for example i have a wikipedia ebook on my microsd, i would love to see a link for that document directly on the standby screen)

4) Quicktime videos:
Are there any mac users here and can post the best conversion settings in quicktime for getting movies running fullscreen in a good quality on the e61i?

5) RSS Reader:
Is there a good external RSS reader application? Maybe something like prssreader? Not with a fancy interface: Just something fast, possibility to integrate opml files, ...

6) Exchange emails:
I know this thing "Mail for exchange" but i'm asking me if there is a possibility to sync the latest emails from my work outlook with the pc suite to the device, so that i have for example the mails from yesterday on my phone?

Is there a better e-mail client outside which is fast and runs good with IMAP?

I use Profimail. Quick, and full-screen. Actively maintained. I use IMAP over SSL via WiFi, and straight POP3 over SSL on (PAYG) GPRS, to minimise data costs (as IMAP requires much more data to be sent and received).

Is there a good external RSS reader application?

I use Resco News for RSS. Imports and exports OMPL files.
