Mp3 not getting saved inspite of free memory

I have enough free memory space available still i am not able to save the mp3 file.
Please help.

In what way are your trying to save the files? explain in detail.
1. Are you using the nokia phone browser from the windows explorer window and directly putting the mp3 in the phone's E: drive?
2. are you using the nokia sound manager to convert & copy to phone?
3. are you using any third party software to do the job for u?

Anyway, mean while u can try to reformat the memory card using the builtin format function in the phone from MENU>TOOLS>MEMORY CARD>Options>FORMAT MEMORY CARD

and try uploading ur files to the memory again.
