Hi all
After installing truphone how do I get the wireless lan to stay switched off, every time I disable it it come back on again? anyone any ideas?
Truphone
C`mon some one must know its really getting on my tits now....it wont disconnect.....only when i press loads of combinations of buttons in sip profiles Wlan wizard and internet telephone for 20 mins it eventually goes off.....but once i start it up again it could take another 30 mins to get the fecker off......HELP ME PLEASE 😮
Think i`ve cracked it and answered my own post, this is what i did.
1. open Wlan wizard and Truphone sip profile
2. disconnect with Wlan, and on the second disconect (as the 1st one quickly logs back on again) jump to Truphone sip profile and clear the X from the profile. this seems to stop the wlan keep logging on.
3. There must be an easier way? anyone?
They are working on a disconnect in the V3 truphone wizard, there is a beta out at the moment, but this doesnt have the disconnect option yet.
Menu>Tools>Settings>Connections>SIP Settings>Registration and change it from ALWAYS ON to WHEN NEEDED for all Truphone profiles that you have. Then disconnect from Connection manager and that should do the trick. Might have to keep doing it everytime you switch on not sure.
yeah tried all that its very hit and miss, still what can we do, cash may be right, a new version that lets us log off.

Download V3 from the Truphone website, it has disconnect option .
I have ver 3 and I can`t seen the disconnect option, where is it
I have v3 and have the settings on "when needed" and once you disconnect it just reconnects again.
As I only just to make 1-2 calls a week I leave if off (no auto-start). When I want to make a call I select the contact and number, and then choose "Internet call". The phone then opens internet services and connects for me. But I still have to go into internet services and disconnect afterwards.
