Removed NokiaMaps & Backup

Hi,

I found on the internet the a link to the NokiaMaps version which has been removed from smart2go a couple of days ago. (can't post the link because I don't have 10 or more posts yet).

I want to try this version to see whether it really is the new one. But before I want to make an backup of your current version in the case, this version does not work??? Just back the whole phone on your mircoSD card, as recommended before making a firmware update?
Or doing a backup with Nokia PCSuite software?

I made a backup with Nokia PCSuite. No problem.
Now it's time to install this software. Hope it is in English or Swedish, as one installed on my N95.

The file is called: NOKIA_Maps_1_0_S60_update.SIS
Anyone remembers whether the file from smart2go had the same name?

I can send the file for testing my e-mail. Just send me a private message.

Yes, that's the right file but your backup will not help you much if you decide to roll back. Restoring the backup will not get back the "old" version of Nokia Maps.
Only way to rollback is to perform a hard reset on the phone (this of course will erase all data and apps that you might have installed) to factory default.
