A bit off topic, but they do make ( or will make) cell phone batteries that charge via USB port.

The AA versions are available. Saw them in a local multiple store the other day. They are expensive and of lower capacity than the best NiMh currently (pun) available.
Bit of a gimmick really although useful for some things (wireless xbox360 pads, cos you can charge them from the console).
I personally wouldn't trust one in my phone but I might give them a go for low drain stuff like tv remotes etc.
