and i lost most of my applications can someone please b kind enuf to give me the links for the apps that they r using?!
THANKS!!

Connect your phone in USB mass storage mode to a PC, and remove apps from the memory card under \private (if you don't care what app it is, remove everything and reinstall the apps you want to keep).

Or just reformat the whole card, if you feel like it. Same result; no automatic application reinstallation attempts after that, either.

On the N95 handset, go into Menu -> Tools -> Apps Manager
Look for any apps which say Not Installed then highlight one of them and press Options -> Remove.
Repeat the above until there are no apps remaining with the status of Not Installed.
Hint: The uninstalled apps also usually have an encrypted name e.g. a0000002 instead of the actual application name.

Alternatively, put the N95 into Mass Storage mode, attach to a PC using USB cable and browse the memory card for the uninstall folder. Unfortunately the contents of this folder are all encrypted filenames so it's not easy to work out which files to delete. You need to use the N95 App Manager to look for the filenames showing as Not Installed and write down the (encrypted) filenames before you can delete them in Mass Storage mode.
