The W960 has the same chance against the iPhone as the SONY mp3 (or atrac-whatever) players against the iPod: ZERO.
There's none so blind as them that can't see. Still I suppose somebody has to buy the things else the Apple execs might run out of G&Ts...
Mactoy, I am curious: what are the biggest strong points on which you are basing when comparing the iPhone with a smartphone? The iPhone is just an iPOD with a touchscreen, midrange camera and a phone module. What makes the iPhone so good? You can't even install other applications.
iPhone will go no further than US. That's for sure. Europe has been defeated by Nokia 😊
I think the iPhone is great, but as mentioned it is not a smartphone. There are far too many flaws with it too, no mms messages, no send to multiple sms messages, $85 for a new battery, and that has to be sent to apple to do it. And there are many more!!
While it's a fantastic effort by apple, I just don't think it's in the same category as the W960.
It's like comparing the graphics of the Nintendo DS and PSP. Both portable games consoles, but very different markets.
Personally, i'd rather have the W960, it does more. There is no need to buy another ipod with a phone attached to it. I just hope that SE make a better go of the P1 and W960 then they did of the P990.
i phone has no chance againt ! this site has more information on it w960.co.uk
