When I have my n95 plugged in the the usb and PC suite open, at the bottom is says 'Nokia N95 connected in non compatible mode' and doesnt allow me to use any of the suites facilities. Can any one help with this ?

thanks

Your phone is probably in USB (or mass-storage) mode. You can change this using the USB application in your menu. You can also set it to ask you what mode to use each time you plug it in.

thanks for your reply mate.
ive tried changing it to data tranfer mode from usb but still no joy?

also says it needs changing to 'UI' what ever that is ..

I've had this error, it means that PC Suite is 'confused'. Needs you to reboot your Windows PC, I'm afraid, followed by plugging in the N95 again.

If you want to use the phone with PC Suite with the USB cable, you need to use "PC Suite" mode for the USB connection, not "USB mass storage", "Data Transfer", "Media Player", "PictBridge" or anything else.

Vista ??
ensure you have the latest PC Suite (Vista compatible) installed.

Beyond that .. run in XP SP2 mode as administrator with Visual themes off.

But if thats not it .. you have a driver issue .. which may take some severe remming to fix.

Good Luck!😊
