wifi file sharing

I suggest you first search this forum. It's been discussed and explained many times already. There are several possible solutions/products with different pros & cons. 😉

SymSMB is what you need my friend.. You NEED version 2 and above so that you can have the client/server relationship. Its pretty good but still fairly slow to transfer. But does work natively!

Basically your waiting for www.telexy.com to release version 2.0 of SymSMB 😊 should be soon!

i could do with a step by step instruction if anyone has one???

bchliu can you tell me if the version 1 works at all on the trial as i have tried that but can't get it to work, i mean it installs on the phone but cant find the phone on my wireless network!!

Version 2.0 is now released, I can browse to the phone share with XP SP2, but NOT Vista. Vista says it cant find the network directory.

Instruction based on N80 but applies for N95 as well (personally I didn't need to install the "Home Media Server" software. After enabling UPnP on PC and WLAN router I could connect to Windows Media Sharing feature in XP (I'm running Win.Media Player 11)):
