N95, Tomtom 6 and Focus bluetooth handsfree

Hi,

I've experienced a problem with my new N95 I hadn't with 6630. The situation is the following:

I'm a proud owner of a N95, with Tomtom 6.020 correctly installed on it, and of a Ford Focus II with a Bluetooth handsfree integrated on a Sony car-audio System (the usual one, in Europe at least). I usually have the BT activated in the phone, and have it linked to the car handsfree automatically when in range.

The issue is that, when the phone gets connected to the car handsfree, the Tomtom 6 voice guidance doesn't sound at all. To 'solve' (not definitively at all) this I have to force the disconnection of the phone from the car. And, when the phone sounds, I press the PHONE button and get it connected... then, after the call is finished, if I want to hear again the Tomtom voice I must explicitly disconnect the phone from the car... and so on.

I guess the phone has A2DP activated by default, and the handsfree doesn't support this mode. The phone tries to send the voice through it and the handsfree cannot do it...

Have anyone of you experienced this problem? Any hint?

Thanks

Don't know but my guess is that they will not release an update of version 6.x with support for this. Why? Because there are so many illegal copies of TT out there so by releasing an update to version 6 will undermine their purpose => to sell their software.
In addition they have already announced a product with TT v7. My (..second..) guess is that when v7.x will be made available for Symbian it has another method for activating navigation in order to make it "impossible" to use the software to navigate without a proper license (online verification like the one used by Nokia Maps/Smart2Go).

Makes sense superswede. I'm running TT5 on my Nokia 6680, which was a copy bought off ebay for a few pounds. This time round though, I'm upgrading to an N95 but will probably buy the full TT6 version rather than pirate copy. I've been so impressed with TT5, I'm actually happy to shell out for the full version. It is a shame that it won't work with the internal GPS, but as I already have an external gps unit, its not a big deal
