A little problem after upgrading N73 to ME

3 replies · 1,834 views · Started 26 June 2007

I've just upgraded firmware of my usual N73 to ME, everything went good except for one thing -

I use a file manager ActiveFile - BEFORE an upgrade I could browse MP3 files in memory card and clicking a file launched music player and it started playing MP3s, now when I click an MP3 file - it launches a menu instead of playing a file!

Is it possible to make file manager start music player and start a playback of MP3 instead of showing that stupid menu?

Thank You.

Just a follow up...
I think ME sucks, at least I didn't like it at all. Music player is nothing better, even worse.
I've changed product code to original and flashed it with newest non-ME firmware 3.0713.1.0.2, now it's good

If I understand, why not use a File Explorer, like Y-Browser, and run the mp3 files that way!

ActiveFile is program with same functions as Y-Browser... they both acted the same - instead of starting mp3 playback in player they opened music player's menu.

Now upgraded back from ME to normal and it works fine as before.
