Is it true that upgrading the software from V 10.0.018 to V 11 or whatever solves the problem of the occasional calling glitch with the silent call?

Yeh, that's what I have read. As some people say "the caller can't hear them" and upgrading has sloved this problem and made their phones more stable.
I also read that the firmware upgrade to v11 causes the WLAN to stop working on some handsets. Thats why i brought the N95, for the wifi. Dont wanna loose it

WiFi is slightly unreliable on both versions of the N95 FW, but WiFi is no worse on V11 FW. However if you can wait another week or 2, V12 FW is about to be released.
Any word on the features of V12?

Nope, not a sniff of info. I imagine tho that the major bugs will all be fixed (hopefully better WiFi detection, etc.).
