Hey guys,
Just registered here and in need of help. I have an N91 (4gig) currently, previously owned by my loved one and passed away last year.
There are some sms that were stored on the HD (which i read was not a good idea) which are irreplaceable The problem started when I received an sms n the phone freezes. Tried to switch it off but still freezes. Resorted on opening the battery cover n pulled out the battery (stupid idea).
Switch it on after that and noticed that all my sms dissapeared. Even the ones that I moved into seperate folders are gone. All that is left is the Template folder. Checked my memory details on my HD, it shows that the sms is still there. Tried checking using PC suite and it wasnt there.
I have no clue on what to do, I don want to do a hard reset as I have no backup for it.
Please Help me, if anyone has a solution and need more detailed information abt wat happened, just ask me.
Thank you

I am not sure if this works but, Try this....
You mentioned that all your smses were on the HDD. This means that your phone was set to receive msgs on HDD. Now go to Messaging, options, settings, scroll down to Other, select memory in use as HDD. Now look for your messages. If they are there, be happy.
