N95 locked up during firmware update... Can I reflash myself?

I bought my N95 off of ebay back in april from phonesource.com and today when I went to update the firmware it locked up. I have tried the reset sequence and to no luck all i get is the nokia logo. I called phonesource and they said they could send it off for me and it would take up to 6 weeks to get back. Anyone know of a way I can reflash the phone myself. The product code of my particular phone is 0549001 if thats of any help.

Thanks in advance

You can flash it yourself with a program called 'phoenix' but i've heard it's a bit complicated.
Other then that have you asked at a Nokia service centre?

Which reset sequence did you try? The hard-reset method? (i.e. holding down 3 * and GREEN keys whilst powering on the handset) If a hard reset did not bootup the handset, your only option is a Nokia Care Centre or sending it away for repair.

The cracked versions of Phoenix do not have the Flash Dead Phone functions, so you cannot self-repair your handset.
