Copilot on N95

Hi,

I got Route 66 working on my N95 with help from people on this forum, but wasn't too impressed with it's route generation, so I've just got Copilot 6, and installed it on the phone. It works well, and I like it pretty much.

The problem I have is, it's installed from a 256Mb msd card, but I want it on my 2Gb card, so that I can have all my software and music etc on one card.

Does anybody know how I can transfer Copilot to another mSD card? I don't want to have to change cards all the time....

Cheers,

Phil

I suspect you should be able to copy it all across - although I'm not certain.

Out of interest - does copilot work with the internal GPS?

Simply install the maps from the DATA cds u get then install copilot SIS from here : http://www.alk.eu.com/files/S60-3rd/copilot_s60_21_6.0.8.101.zip

activate like normal

Right, sorted to some degree. Thanks for the replies chaps.

It turned out that when I tried to copy the files across to the card in a PC card reader it claimed the card was locked (don't know why). When I connected the phone in data transfer mode, I just copied it all across and it worked fine.

Now my problem is that Copilot has a speed camera update that requires the N95 to be synced using MS Activesync.

I can't find a version of activesync that works on the phone - any thoughts?

Cheers,

Phil

P.S. Yes, it works fine with the internal GPS

I downloaded Copilot from the link above. I was hoping that I would get the opportunity to try it out in a limited version for one or two days. But no. Is there a demo to download for Autopilot?

Sorry, can't help with the above question, but can some answer this quick question for me please - with Copilot, can you leaving it running with no route planned and just use it for speed camera warning like TomTom? I thought you could, but someone told me you can't.

i'm not to sure autopilot, ive not driven with no route planned :P

like i said ive not updates to this version, so i still have the .SIS that was on before, which is fine so shud be attached 😊

ARRGH! wont allow me to upload here as file is too big

I would like to try the software out before i buy it, where can i get the actiation key or product key to get the software working???

I am looking for funcation like it will work with N95, and also Redlight, speed camera info, and also point to point direction also.. I live in australia most of the dealer in here got no ideas about their product, and i just want to try this out first before i paid for one copy for myself...

also does Rout66 work with N95?? Some dealer in sydney said it does not work with N95, other said i need a ext GPS unit to get it work... please help

Yes, there is a version of Route66 and Copilot Live 6 now that works with the N95's internal GPS.

Route66 is rubbish, you might as well use Nokia Maps. Copilot is fantastic, 'proper' GPS and I want to buy it, only thing is that version 7 is due out any time soon.

I'm due to get the N95 in a week or so, and want to get Co-Pilot. But curretnyl I have TomTOm Maps of Western Europe running on my NOkia 6680.

Anyone know if I can get maps of Europe ( France esp. ) on Co-Pilot? And how much?

cheers.

For anyone running Copilot live 7, can you test to see if invitations are working?

I have tried a few times now, to various email addresses, and although it says message sent (and data is used), nothing ever gets to my email.

Im assuming it goes through copilot servers at some point, so Im wondering if they are down.
