Hi,

I'm in the process of buying a N95 to replace my N73 and as I heard that the N73's battery is better than that of the N95, I was wondering if it's possible to use the N73's battery in the N95.

Basically is the N73 battery compatible with the N95.

1100 mAh BBP-6M Lithium Ion battery = N73

BL-5F Battery = N95 ..

now if you look closely both are compatible with the N93 .. so you might just be right!
Notice the 5F is slightly cheaper ..
You're the perfect candidate for physical experiment - check the physical dimensions of the 5F vs the 6M .. some piccies would be nice!
IF the 95 happily accommodates the 6M it might be a viable replacement.
In theory of course you'll be able to use your n95's battery on your old N73

While the battery might be compatible is it not more to do with the added features etc of the N95 causing the shorter battery life?

Yes, the features of the N95 battery do cause the shorter life but the standard battery is only 950mAH. The substitute suggested is 1100mAH, which would give a longer life, if it fitted.

N73 battery is not compatible with the N95. I tried it. My other half has the N73.

n73 battery is bigger and has a different type of connection terminal.
