howdy.
i bought a N75 2 weeks ago to replace my 6682. great phone, but i dont like the flip phone aspect.
Im leaning towards replacing it with an N73. Doesnt seem like much of a difference betwen the music edition and the standard...
some people are upgrading TO the music edition... others are trying to downgrade to vanilla.
if given the option... which would you choose??
thanks!!!
As far as I'm aware, there's only a few significant differences between the standard N73 and the Music Edition:
1) ME has a much nicer Music Player
2) On ME, you can't exit the Music Player
3) Pressing the "Media" key on a standard N73 opens a configurable menu, on ME it opens the Music Player.
4) ME has a couple extra themes (which you can find on the internet anyway)
Reportedly, the latest (v4) firmware now has the better Music Player on the standard N73, so now the differences will be fairly minor.
Personally I've been using the ME as I much prefer the music player, might switch back to the standard firmware soon if that advantage is gone.

Regarding a few of your answers.
You can exit the music player, but only with Handy Task Man,so it can be done.
And the extra themes can be found but they are copys that are'nt up to the standard of the original Nokia ME themes.
