I have recently switched back to using S60 v2 phones after deciding that as pretty as v3 UI's are, they're just not letting me use the software i want to, and i like to "play" in the system and so on.
So, i get onto eBay and buy two of my favorites from the past, a 6600, and a 6630. Now, onw of the apps i used to love was nokia sensor, which has installed perfectly on my 6600, but try as i might, i cannot get it to install on my 6630.
Each time i try to install it, before i get anywhere i get an error: "Unable to install, security error". I go straight to the App Manager and software installation is set to "on" and certificate check is set to "off". I've even tried using unmake sis to extract the files and install them manually on the memory card, which works, but then the app won't start up.
Now, i know that when i had a 6630 before it worked ok, the only difference i can think of is that this phone is running the latest software "6.03.40" whereas my old one went before this version was out, so it was on older software. Is this the reason?? Can anyone confirm? Does anyone know a way around this? Can anyone install it on their 6630 if its running the same version to see if they get the same problem. I've searched the net to no avail, it seems to be only me who's got this problem.
Cheers in advance, this is really bugging me.:frown:
