Hiyya,
Rather trivial question but I've downloaded a few apps over the past few days onto my N80 (say, truphone) and find I have to keep on redownloading them everytime I want to reinstall. This is my first smartphone and obviously unlike windows you don't get an option to save/run, all I do is click on the link and it prompts an install process. Is there anywhere they're all downloaded to? Thanks
Where do all the downloads end up?

When you install an application to the phone from its built in browser or via the 'downloads' thing, the phone runs through the install process, then purges the installation file. A more ideal way is to download the applications to your computer and install from there, you could also store the applications in the "Other" folder within the phone using a card reader or bluetooth, that way you can use the file browser to install them again at any time straight from the phone.
Perhaps a question in return is why do you need to keep re-installing?
Thanks for that, re reinstalling its related to my truphone problem:

So I keep reinstallin in the hope that a .set file will magically appear.
No luck though. :frown:
download them from truphone website via PC
That's the thing I've read that everywhere... I don't know if it's just me but inside My Account I only have a link to a .SISX under upgrading/reinstalling truphone on the main My Account page?
