Purchasing Nokia Maps navigation

Hey guys,

I'm a little confused with respect to purchasing route guidence for Nokia Maps. I upgraded to the version of smart2go that was floating on here a couple of weeks ago, but when I try to purchase navigation it now tells me I have to specify the region. Now I'm off to Morocco next week and have downloaded the maps for that country. However there is no option to buy navigation for Morocco, the buy screen just has UK/Ire, Europe, South Africa etc..??

Now I distinctly remember with the original version of Maps, that when you purchase guidence, it was not region specific. You just paid for a week/month/yearly etc.. pass which I presumed gave you licence to use it worldwide.

Should I revert back to the Nokia one??

TIA

I checked it on my phone. There is not "Voice-Navigation" for Morocco available. Only middle eastern region and south Africa.
But you still can download the maps I think and just the normal navigation and the maps. Just voice navigation is not possible.

Try it.

Hi, So is it just voice navigation that you are paying for? I thought any form of navigation required payment.

Yes, Voicenavigation and the recalculating of the route when you drive another way. If you miss a point where you have to turn left or right. Then the navigator will recalculate the route. If you use the normal navigation then the program is just showing you the way on the map without recalculation.
