yup, bad news indeed...

i've been searching for an alternative way of getting our apps signed...no luck 😡 😡 :con? :con? 😡 😡

Some GOOD news I guess, just found this :

"Hello All,

Unfortunately we still do not have a date for when the web site will running as normal again. I can confirm however that the problems are hardware related and will not be resolved for at least 2 weeks from today. We will keep you updated as we get more information.

Best Regards,

The Symbian Signed Team"

seems that they are still having hardware problem, should be resolved in 2 weeks, fingers are crossed !!! :icon14:

Actually, it's not as bad as you think - the .cer files you create through the Symbian Signed site are valid for 6 months, and an be reused for different applications. So if you have signed something within the last few months, you ought to be able to sign other programs with the same .cer file without going through the website. Not sure what guides people use, but I hope this makes sense to those who have signed things before: all you have to do is to modify the auto_signsis.bat file and change the names of the unsigned and signed SIS files whilst keeping the same .cer filename, and run the batch file again.
