N72 - 2Gb Memory Card

I removed the Nokia 128MB MMCM card that came with my N72 and replaced it with a Kingston 2GB MMC mobile card (dual voltage), but my N72 won't recognise it. The card works fine in my usb reader, so there's a problem on the phone's side.

I've seen reviews of the Kingston card with comments from users saying that it worked in their N72, so I'm wondering if I need to update the firmware or S60 on my phone.

Can anyone help? Was there a version of S60 or of the N72 firmware that couldn't address a 2GB MMCM card? If so, how can I update my phone?
