Mixing the stream outgoing stream with the speaker one on the out of the device

Hello everyone,

i already posted this question on the nokia forum but i got no answer and this is very urgent question.

i'd like to know if it is possible to mix the stream coming from the speaker (my voice) with the one already going to the output of the device.

An easy application of this is on the N93i, while doing a videoconference, on the output are the two videos and the audio of the correspondant but not mine. To record on an external source both sources i need to mix my voice coming from the speaker to the outgoing flux.

It could be possible to use the CMdaAudioRecorderUtility class, with the SetAudioDeviceMode() function but it seems that it might only work for mixing data that is not a stream like the one coming from my speaker, no?

This is urgent work, any help would be appreciated!

As far as I know, not possible. That is not part of the device, and i dont know any third part software to do the job:frown:

Thanx a lot for this quick answer! Even if it doesn't sound good...

and what if we try to cut the output stream during the call (is that possible?), bufferize this data and create a new output stream with the CMdaAudioOutputStream class. In this new stream we would then mix the two entities.

Sounds awful and difficult to synchronize...

The problem is the same, software to do that:con? In theory is possible, but without a third part software, no way. If is on a PC, there are a lot of offers. But on an S60 device, I dont know any.
