Went looking for the British Museum today and was put off a little bit because the Maps application shows Russell Square as Bloomsbury Square. Take a look and see for yourself.
Russell Square = Bloomsbury Square
To be fair, this is the fault of TeleAtlas, which supplies the map data. The green area of Russell Square is wrongly labeled, but the road itself is correct, and Bloomsbury Square is correctly positioned.
I work there 😊
In Victoria House which backs on to bloomsbury square. We often have meetings in the downstairs presentation halls of the british museum
Yeah I spent about 15 minutes looking for the British Museum knowing all the time it was north of Bloomsbury Square but the map (depending on how you read it) shows the Museum being south. We went around the block at Bloomsbury square twice looking for the museum before I asked somebody who told me to head north.
Secondly you really can only get a decent lock at intersections in london because the buildings either side make it difficult in the middle of a block.

Definately, I walk 20 minutes from the station to work and on some occasions I have not got a lock that entire time! At home (in the nice open town of Bedford) I can get a fix in 1-2 minutes from cold!
I've found it reasonably reliable at the island near the Sainsbury's there just across from Holborn station.
Don't you get jostled a lot, there is always hundreds of people there. Mind you I only ever go there at lunchtime!
