Hi
I am using Nokia E70 running software version 3.0633.09.04. I am facing problem with memory. i have transferred some .jpeg image files from my PC to phone over bluetooth. when i try to open that file from messages, it gives me following error. "Image Memory full close some application and try again". Whereas i am not running any applicaitons in background. I am using 64 MB MMC. 19 MB free on phone memory and some 7 MB free on MMC. The image i am trying to open is 185 KB.
Please help.
Regards,
Sushant
How much RAM do you have available? Try to open the image after rebooting.

That memory, after send the images by Bluetooth, is phone memory. So try clean messages, and delete some other personal stuff from phone, or move them to memory card, and try again.

It depends. Can be phone memory or memory card, but the problem here refers to RAM. The picture is anyway much smaller than the free memory amount.

A more useful piece of information to know are the dimensions of the picture. As we all know, jpg is a (lossy) compressed format. An uncompressed 1600x1200 picture (2M pixels) would take up 5.6MB, and a 10M pixel picture would take over 20MB. If the picture viewer app is dumb and uncompresses the complete picture into memory then the amount of free RAM will limit the size (dimensions) of pictures that you can view.
