Sat nav lock when stationary

I got the sat nav working on my n95 and i was amazed, easily as good as a tom tom if a little more difficult to program but hey...its a phone

my only gripe is that it will only seem to get a satelite lock when i am in motion, which means i have to program the destination after i have set off, which quite frankly is asking for trouble, you try typing bexleyheath on a numeric keypad and keep your eyes on the road whilst doing 50 mph!

then i suggest you wait till you get a lock before driving, maybe walk around outside unless you really want £60 fine and 3 points lol

LOL, Are you joking mate?

Give it time, when the novelty wares off (quickly) you will see thats it's not only bad, it's a bloody liability. No custom user POI's (i.e. no speed camera detection for starters), terrible substandard GPS reception and accuracy, and it's now LEGENDARY route calculation and routing :icon13:

yeah i tested it on a proper journey yesterday and it was useless, it kept thinking i was on other roads, and thus tried to recalculate a route i didn't need.
