Ok i have had my N95 for a month now, and just 2day...when someone tried to send me a picture message....i never received it! I tried sending myself one and sending one from another phone but no....
The strange thing is....i can send them but cant receive them.
I put my sim in my dads phone and my dads sim in the N95, i sent a mms from both phones....delivered to my dads phone with my sim...but didnt deliver to my dads sim in the N95...proving that its the N95.
So to summaries........my N95 can send MMS but it cannot receive MMS.....????
I have phone dup orange and they have NO idea...NO help what so ever...sent me all the settings etc but none worked...so anyone....any ideas?

Have you sett the multimedia retrieval to automatic in home network.
Messaging / Options / Settings / Multimedia Message / Multimedia Retrieval.
had the same problem after updating phone (debranding it ) check advanced mms settings i dont know what they are on orange tho
Hi all. The settings on Orange are: image = large. MMS= Restricted Access point = Orange MMS Mulitimedia retrieval = always automatic Allow anon.msgs = yes Receive adverts = yes Reports = no Deny sending = no Message validity = maximum time.

The settings you said are the exact same as i have. I have tried just abut everything i think. I have also, as suggested, tried setting the multimedia retrieval to auto in home network but still...dosnt work, im well confused!
thats not the settings i mean go into tools/settings/connection/access points find orange mms settings check them but remember to also go options advanced settings hope this will help sorry i dont have the orange settings im on t mobile
I have the exact same problem but i am on Vodafone ... they also cant help. I think it all started ever since i updated the firmware ...... I have reset everything and nothing happens. I can send, but i cant receive ...

This problem isnt just an orange problem. Ive been told its a problem with the firmware update with some N95's. Does anyone know how i can revert back to the original firmware ?

I am also seeing this problem on my Orange N95 which I recently upgraded to v12 firmware.
Anyone know of any fixes for this?
I'd even consider downgrade back to standard Orange firmware if there were no other options. Is this possible?

I had the same problem i just reinstalled v12 firmware with the S E updater and everything works just fine :icon14:
Sorry to sound stupid, but how does one re-install the v12 firmware?

Just reconnect your phone via your cable and run the nokia software updater it solved my problem, my contract is with Orange but my phone is not locked to any network
Reinstall worked a treat until I did full restore then it buggered again.
Did another reinstall and restored only contacts and messages and all now well. Looks to be something to do with restoring a v10 config onto v12.
