Anyway to play the radio without a headset?

I couldn't find an option to allow me to play the radio on my N80 without connecting it to a headset. Is there a way around this or is there a better 3rd party application for doing this?

on the older Nokias you used to be able to start the radio then remove the headset wire and it would still play. You tried that?

The wire is the ariel tho... so you may loose quality if your listenin to the radio

How do these new bluetooth stereo headphones work then? Is it for media on the phone already not radio?

Cheers Robski

true, but i was surprised when i connect traditional headset in Nokia N95 and the sound was clear even inside the building !!

i hope Nokia make it possible to use phone speakers to listen to the raedio with out headsets.

There is one crude way to handle this.

If you have an Nokia old head set cut the wire section apart so that you just have the plug.

Insert the dummy plug in to the N80's Data/Auto Socket below and put the Visual Radio in Loudspeaker mode. It works.

btw.. there is no way to listen radio tru Bluetooth .. 😞

we can't connect headset and bt.. at the same time......
