We've already commented that most iPhone-Safari web applets are compatible with the S60 3rd Edition web browser, but Ewan provides a little down to earth proof, reviewing five of his favourites, with comments, links and screenshots.

So does this mean that lots of sites will buy the hype and try and make themselves iPhone compatible.

More importantly, does that also mean that the safari browser on the E90 will also work with those sites. Or do the 2 browsers still show up as being different beasts as far as thw webserver is concerned.

Where I'm heading is that alot of sites put you on a mobile site or refuse you proper access because you don't have a 'proper' browser.

On some of the WM5 browsers, you have the option of pretending to be some other browser. But I get the impression Safari does not offer that.

Just a note - they run BETTER on the n95 than on the iPhone

The iPhone while being 320x480 doesn't report itself as such, so most apps made before its launch don't run so well. , Most of the games just show up in the top left corner of the screen.
