you know when you have a voice mail and you get that 0_0 type sysmbol, well what doe`s it mean when the left part is filled in, I have no voice mails as I have deleted them and this sysmbol wont go away.

The phone was orange branded and now has generic firmware, Its the symbol that appears when you have a voicemail. but the left circle bit is filled in white, is this something to do with line 2? I don`t have a line 2, this has appeared after my upgrade to the ver 5 firmware, It seems to think I have a voicemail, but when I check it says "no new messages"............... This is the interesting bit, when I turn the phone off and then back on again, it says " new voice message on line 1" whtas that all about, I thought I was on line 1. when I click to listen to the message nothing happens but the symbol is still there.....any ideas

Is it anything to do with truphone? whats the truephone voice mail number as its empty

It's a known issue between Orange SIM's and Nokia handsets (especially N Series).

The cure is simple but you need access to another phone, preferably not Nokia:

- Take out SIM
- Insert SIM into another brand of phone, Motorola or Sony Ericsson but any non Nokia brand should do.
- Phone yourself and leave a voicemail
- Listen to then clear the voicemail
- Take SIM out of borrowed phone and reinsert into your N80.
- Problem should be solved (at least it worked for me using a Motorola L6 SLVR)

Hope that helps.
