Will the AGPS work with
a) A bluetooth GPS reciever
b) TomTom software
I'd assume it would with the reciever, but not with tomtom.
Confirm?

I think yes, since AGPS is a way of GPS work, as far as i know. See here:http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/; This site is for me the better place for GPS information.
The navigation application must have A-GPS support for it to work. The Nokia Maps app has. I doubt that TomTom has the required support for connecting to Nokia's A-GPS servers/service.
But could anybody tell if an external bluetooth GPS receiver can take an advantage of A-GPS feature? I couldn't get a fix inside a building both with external bluetooth receiver and internal one when A-GPS was switched on. What was strange for me, with external bluetooth receiver I couldn't get any satellites at all, whilst with an internal one I could observe at least some of them (but still not enogh to get a fix).
It is not for an external GPS receiver to do (or not to do), but for the GPS/navigation software you use.
But the question is how it works in case both A-GPS option and external GPS is switched on? Can A-GPS use only results of measurements from internal GPS?
... or maybe the measurements from external bluetooth GPS receiver are sent to Nokia server then?
Assisted GPS works with the gps internals to get a lock on the satellites, Since an external gps only reports the position, time, and satellites it's connected to, assisted gps can't be implemented over bluetooth.
My GPS reciever apparently has AGPS support?
What's the problem to get rough data from external bluetooth receiver instead of internal one and send it to Nokia server for further processing? Maybe external receiver can send only processed data that are "ready" to use and doesn't make sense to send it for accurate processing. As external receiver is more sensitive, we could get much better effect after combining it with A-GPS method.
