Firmware Updates if PC has less than 256mb of Ram?

Hi guys and gals, my first post here. I've been lurking for a few weeks and finally bit the bullet last week and purchased and N95.

I'm very very impressed overall with the phone. Have d/loaded and updated Nokia Maps here in Australia, and it works a treat.

My only major issue is as follows:

The only PC i have in my home is a 5 yr old Acer Laptop, which has 256mb of Ram, or i thought it did (really has 190 odd mb of ram).........

I have downloaded the update software through the australian nokia website, proceeded to run the program and it brings up and message stating the obvious: Cannot update as minimum requirement for updating is 256MB of ram.

Now my issue is plain to see..... so how do i update the N95 without a PC connection as the N95 doesn't have the over the air update function?

My current firmware is V11.0.026, and my Product Code is 0534835.

Can someone point me in the right direction as to if and how i can update the phone?

Take your phone to the nearest Nokia service center, and they can update the firmware for free.

you will have 256mb of ram but some will be set aside for the onboard graphics hence why it show u 190
