and dose this fix the maplag with tomtom
thanks spurry05
I'm a UK user on Orange and I used 0527009 and all is well. This is a generic "vanilla" code and will remove all 3 branding. Be wary of this as 3 often supply unique apps with their phones. I previously had a vanilla ME version without any problems.
To change the product code, you will need a piece of software called Nemesis Service Suite. I'm sorry, but I don't have a link to this.
Once changed, use Nokia's own app, NSU, to perform the upgrade.
Not sure if this version fixes the TTN6 Map lag as I never experienced it before hand, and haven't had the chance to try TTN6 out since updating the FW. I believe those that experience this believe it is more to do with the TTN6 coding, rather than the N73 or it's firmware.
Just a word of warning...
When upgrading, make sure not to disconnect or interrupt the process in anyway. Make sure your USB cable is firmly connected and that the phone has a full battery or is connected to the charger. If the upgrade process gets interrupted in anyway, you will have an expensive paper weight on your hands.
Good luck 😊
thanks i will give it some thort

hiya mate try disabling a few points of intrest in tomtom 6 i had slow down in it checked the pois and every 1 was enabled selected the 1s that are vital and it works a treat.
as for downgrading to old firware you wont be able to do it via nokia update it will just say
newest software installed
a good flasher could solve it for you or a nokia service centre but the new firmware is pretty good and seems quite stable to me

Long press the Music key - should open music player.
