Hi. Since upgrading to v12 firmware the radio is only playing on the left headphone. First I thought the headphones might be damaged but the music player works perfectly, its just the radio only going to the left headphone!
Whats that about?!

I'have the same problem. 😞
Haven't really used the radio on N95, but I remember when I used to listen to the radio on my N70, it would often jump between stereo and mono as the signal reception varies, and moving the headphone wire in certain directions would improve the reception and turn it back to stereo from mono.

Whit Fw v 11 this problem is not present!

I know what you mean about signal strength, I used to get that before but even then, when it dropped to mono it was on both headphones (its just that they were both the same, mono).
This is a different thing, there is literally no sound coming from the right headphone AT ALL when using the radio.
I used to have a big problem with stereo mono continually switching in my N80 (it all worked fine just really annoying!). I wished I could set it to contantly stay on mono like most radios.
N95 does not have this problem atall. It never loses stereo, or contantly locks to mono.
Ok, for an update. Yesterday evening, after installing some apps lost in the upgrade and several restarts, the radio came back to working on both headphones! Now it seems to be fine again. I don't know what changed but it hasn't dropped back to just the left since then.
Very odd. Has this happened for anyone else who was having this issue?

Hi 3Shirts,
I have faced the same problem and tried restoring the backup several times, however the radio still seems to be through the left channel only.
Were you able to spot which application was lost that was causing the problem?
Thanks.
:con?
Hey all,
Yes there is a bug with the Visual Radio in V12 Firmware. The simple fix for the time being is, turn the phone off remove the battery and sim for 30 seconds, put it back in and you should have stereo sound.
This is what I did and I now have stereo sound, however sometimes it will go back to left channel only, which is when I remove the battery/sim again.

WOW!!! Removing the battery and the sim seems to have worked for me also. I just got back the stereo sound for my radio. Hope this lasts till these guys make a new firmware release. Horrible experience with this phone, I must say.
I've never removed the battery, just rebooted.
