hi guys, i'm posting this from my n95 so sorry about formatting. I'm not sure of how to put an "enter" in to give a paragraph 😊 I am wondering how to save files to my phone from within the in built web browser such as normal exe, mov, mpeg, rar etc. There doesn't seem to be an ability to "save link" as such. It just tries to open the link which does't work or allow me to save a file or program for installation or playback on my pc later. This is my only form of gutesoet at the moment, me using my o95 on public wireless hotspots 😊
saving files from within internet browser
To get a line break (or enter) all you do is press * and then select the little arrow that points left. This will insert a line break. Can be used in text messages too.
Regarding your question, its not possible unfortunately. Would be great if they added a save link as option to the inbuilt browser.
Maybe Opera for mobile is different?
Opera mobile will let you save anything regardless of whether or not it knows how to handle it. I use it to save .torrent files and then run them in SymTorrent. With the standard browser you can only download files the phone can access.
By the way, Logan1981, your line break tip is great! Thanks for that
This is a step backwards from my N80 browser which also could handle torrent files etc.
(3 presses on the 0 button also gives a new paragraph)
