mp3 conversion speedy playback!!!!

hi all just got my n95 if i put and convert music from pc onto phone it plays it back triple speed any help greatly appreciated?

This sounds like a problem with the conversion format or the software you are converting with. What software are you using and what are you converting from/to?

i'm using the software disc that came with my 95 default setting converting mp3's?

Hmm, so basically doing everything exactly as Nokia suggest?! You'd think that'd be fairly safe! I'm afraid I don't know, perhaps someone else can help.

In the meantime, try using Windows media player. Are you talking about ripping CDs?

basically i'm just trying to convert some tunes to use as ring tunes and to play on the phone ie as an mp3 player can i rip them to the phone using wmp then?

Rip them to your PC first as mp3's, then transfer to your phone.

There are LOADS of apps which'll do this....

Windows media player, CDEX, etc. etc.
