can you keep voice comands after upgrade?

In anticipation of the v.12 firmware becoming available for T-mobile, I'm wondering what to do about my voice commands for my SatNav.

Presumably after upgrading to v.12 all of my programs will have to be re-installed. This was the case with Truphone for example the last time I upgraded.

Fortunately Truphone allows you to re-install without cost via their website.

*is the same true for the SatNav voice commands? or,
*are they stored when one back up files prior to upgrading?
*would it be necessary to buy the voice commands all over again?

Not sure I've understod you correctly here but:
- On my device voice commands where downloaded to my memory card so I did not have to download them again after flashing with new firmware (but if you do you can use the new version 1.1 of Maploader to download voices as well as maps).
- You don't have to pay for Navigation again after upgrade but you have to have your activation code available (make a note of it BEFORE you flash!!) and re-enter it after flashing. The code should have been sent to you by e-mail when you bought it. If not, it can be found under 'About' (..or somewhere, don't remember exactly where..) in Nokia Maps. Make a note of it before you flash phone!!!

can you explain exactly where on the phone i can find the activation code? i am stupid and lost the email... now i cant find the code on the phone but it does say i have navigation
