App request.

here's my small app request. please whack me in the head if something like this is already existing and i dont know about it (or you can simply give me the link)

- an app that would allow me to put passwords in certain folders in my menu page. like for example, i dont want anybody playing with my 7650 games without my knowing, so when anybody tries to open my games folder they will be prompted to supply a password. that goes that same with extras tools or what ever.

i know the lock code is an option, but i dont want to lock the entire phone. i just want to luck certain folders. 8)

I would like to have an app that produce barcodes.
I have tried taking a photo of a barcode, but seems like my scanner cannot scan it.
Wonder its it because of the reflection of the screen?

In Japan, if you purchase a ticket via sms, a barcode will be sent to you and at the entrance of the event, just flash the barcode on a scanner it will be read and pass the entrance gate.

Anybody ever had seen this before?

You want an app that will produce bar barcode images?
What is the usefulness of such app? Free tickets? 😃

Only you have such thoughts.

Once the barcode had been scanned, it will be deleted or moved into a black list. Nobody would be stupid enough to create a single barcode for a thousand people. Then it will be speculated around as a free entry.

Back to my point.
I have saw a scanner somewhere is this forum which is attached to 7650 for scanning. Its a cool design as it replaces a palm scanner.
For e.g stock inventory palm scanner on a 7650.
But look I am try to see whether there is a read the barcode in anther way from the screen itself.
I have tried generating the barcode using a conventional barcode generator but somehow my scanner does not reads it once I flash on the screen.

Ghostdog, I second your request. For ages, most other makes of phone have had a 'minute-minder'-style beep to curb call costs. It's just nokia who always seem to forget about this feature.

Theran, my first thought also was that you wanted to make free barcodes for yourself, as that's the only thing you mentioned in your first post.
I've heard somewhere that a barcode was being investigated (but can't remember where I heard about it, so I'm not sure whether I imagined it or not)

Well,SmartCypto is close enough.
I dont think there is anything similar on the market.

thanks y'all for the tip. i know about smart crypto by symbian ware before, but when i read it's product description im not sure if its what im looking for. i havent installed the app, but i will give it a try as soon as i submit this. i hope it's what i need.
