P990 vs iPhone or other phones? can it do this?

Hello,
I have been a proud owner of a P800 and a P900. I never bought the P910 because people told me there were issues with synchronizing it with the Mac and because the iPhone was announced and I was planning to buy that.

Now that I have seen the iPhone I am still thinking of buying the P990 instead, it just seems to make more sense, but I wanted your opinion.

I am really open to buy any phone as long as:
- it synchronizes perfectly with OS X (Address Book and iCal primarily)
- it has WiFi so that I don't have to subscribe to a push email plan but I can still check my email in every hot spot or open network around NYC
- it is unlocked so I can put my european sim in when I go there
- it can contain unlimited (or at least 2500) address book entries with multiple emails and multiple phone numbers
Other features important to me are:
- battery life
- bluetooth

Based on my requirements it sounds like only the P990 exists!!!! Right?
If there are other phones I never heard of please let me know...

I was wondering if any P990 user switched to the iPhone and can give a real world comparison.
Also I am wondering if the P990 synchronizes perfectly with OS X or if there are the same issues with that as there were with the P910.

I am a little bummed that the P990 is 802.11b (as opposed to g, like the iPhone) but I guess I could go over that...

So far my plan seems to be to buy a P990 until an unlocked iPhone 2 comes out...
What do you guys think I should do?

Thanks
