N95 to E90.. couple of questions

hi all,
first post.
I'm a long time symbian user and am looking forward to getting the E90 when it becomes available in Ireland.
I currently own an E61 and an N95. I love the E61 for work and the N95.. well.. its nice.
But to be honest its feels very "plasticky" to me and, while feature laden, ultimately it feels a little cheap. I noticed it on the also on N73.. (hardware cutting corners slightly) but its more evident on the N95 due to slider et al. The lack of available ram is a killer though! No amount of firmware upgrades will fix that. Its disappointing as it limits the multitasking ability of a phone that screams multitask me!
I do like it, but after a pitiful 3 weeks, its going into the buy and sell and the money going towards my E90 purchase which I know has got a higher standard build quality based on Steves reviews and others. And all that ram... wow. It all makes sense now 😊

Anyway, there are a couple of plus points for the N95 below that I would like to know if they are present on the E90? Hopefully someone can answer them for me?

Does the E90 support:
- 3.5mm standard headphone jack
- TV out.

Also, with the N95 being an "N Series" device versus the "E Series" E90, what, if anything, would I be losing out on by switching to the E90?
For example are there any specific N series apps, software etc that are default on the N95 but absent in the more business orientated E90?

I know that the 5MP camera is dropped for the 3MP on the E90 but thats certainly not a deal breaker.. Pics look good on the E90!

Maybe some other absentees lurking in a corner?
Anything else, so I can make an informed decision.

PS: Cheers for reading through my first (long winded) post!

Welcome😊
No 3,5 - is 2,5 I think!
No TV out:frown:

Both phones are almost the same, with different form factor, so all software is common.

does any one knows how to get nokia e90 to start playing youtube videos...
it says flash version not supported

firmware is 7.24.0.3

thanks

wel i had n95 and was thinking exactly the same and sold my phone but now lacks money, ya just the 3.5 mm and tv out is lost , other then that e90 is exactly the same and better(ram, quality built and screen) .. good move btw

Cheers for replies lads.
2.5mm jack is not a dealbreaker. its easy to get adaptors. The old pop port to 3.5mm was more of an issue.
TV out.. its a shame they didn't include that though! Quite a handy feature on the N95!
But on balance the E90 seems a better device hands down. No contest. E90 for me 😉
