Background running

I just read this in one other thread.

So I have a quick question. Very very often I forget to check the background running applications. Especially after I finish my calls I forget to close the "contacts". And since we all know that the battery is "draining" from those applications running in behind, I wanted to ask if there is some kind of automatic closing of those applications?

no, Ive not heard of any auto closing of symbian apps or general apps. I guess its just down to brain training? 😎

perhaps there should be a hotkey to kill all apps. That would be useful instead of restarting
